Zenith

Zenith is a high-performance, LAN-based collaboration platform that provides Slack-like features (Channels, Direct Messaging, File Sharing) without requiring an internet connection.

• Zero-Config Discovery: Users don't type IP addresses. Using mDNS (Bonjour), the app automatically finds the local server on the Wi-Fi.

• Real-Time Channels: Instant messaging using WebSockets for zero-latency conversation.

• Persistent History: A local database (SQLite or NeDB) that saves all chats so they stay there even if the server restarts.

• LAN File Streaming: Send large files (PDFs, Images) directly across the router at max hardware speeds—much faster than uploading to Google Drive and downloading again.
