Building the Map: OSM Data Contribution

Building comprehensive spatial data for OpenStreetMap by systematically mapping buildings, streets, and infrastructure in underrepresented areas. This project focuses on improving map completeness by adding missing features like building footprints, street networks, and local POIs (Points of Interest) using OSM editing tools. The goal is to enhance OpenStreetMap's coverage and accuracy, making it more useful for navigation, urban planning, and emergency services. Contributors will learn OSM workflows, data validation practices, and community mapping standards while making a direct impact on open geographic data.
