GreenPulse

A GIS-powered ecological intelligence platform that monitors tree cover, flora, fauna, waterbodies, and their connectivity to track and analyze landscape restoration over time.

Description

This project is a comprehensive ecological protection and wildlife support platform that integrates technology, NGOs, and community participation to safeguard biodiversity. It enables users to assist injured or distressed animals by providing rescue guidance demo videos and direct access to nearby NGOs for immediate help. The platform promotes regular surveillance activities such as maintaining water pots and safe spaces for birds, encouraging citizens to actively protect local wildlife. It also ensures transparency in governing NGO operations and supports structured donation management to fund verified environmental initiatives effectively.

In addition, the system uses GIS, remote sensing, and AI to detect green cover changes, generate alerts for deforestation or ecological degradation, and monitor overall landscape health. It includes a community discussion space for spreading awareness, sharing information, and coordinating conservation efforts. The platform further supports intelligent detection of animals and birds through image and sound recognition, providing detailed information about species, habitats, behavior, and conservation status, thereby creating an integrated ecosystem for wildlife rescue, biodiversity tracking, and environmental restoration.
