XenevaOS – Open Source Operating System Contribution

Contributing to the development of XenevaOS, an open-source operating system, by improving system components, fixing issues, and enhancing functionality to strengthen the ecosystem.

Description

XenevaOS is an open-source operating system designed to explore modern OS architecture and low-level system development. The project focuses on building a functional operating system from scratch with components such as kernel management, memory handling, device interaction, and system services.

Through this hackathon contribution, the goal is to actively support the development of XenevaOS by improving existing modules, identifying and fixing bugs, optimizing system performance, and enhancing documentation to make the project easier for new contributors to understand and build.

The contribution will involve analyzing the repository structure, setting up the build environment, and working on selected system components such as kernel-level functionality, system utilities, or development tooling. Improvements may include code optimization, feature enhancements, better error handling, and clearer documentation.

By contributing to XenevaOS, this project aims to strengthen the open-source ecosystem while gaining deeper understanding of operating system internals, low-level programming, and collaborative software development practices.
