GreenLens is a smart platform that helps detect, report, and manage waste using AI, connecting citizens, drivers, and municipalities for efficient garbage collection.
GreenLens is a smart waste management platform designed to improve garbage detection, reporting, and collection in cities. The platform uses AI-based image recognition to identify different types of waste such as plastic, paper, metal, glass, and organic waste.
Citizens can scan or report garbage using the application, which automatically records the location and type of waste. These reports are then sent to the system where drivers responsible for waste collection receive pickup requests and optimized routes.
The platform also includes a Municipality Admin Dashboard that allows city authorities to monitor garbage reports, manage drivers, track pickups, and analyze waste collection data through maps and analytics. The system can also detect garbage hotspots where waste reports are high and send alerts for faster action.
GreenLens connects citizens, drivers, and municipalities into a single ecosystem to create a more efficient, transparent, and environmentally friendly waste management system.
This project aims to support smarter cities by promoting better recycling practices, improving waste collection efficiency, and reducing environmental pollution.
