FOSS United Bengaluru is the first City Chapter of the FOSS United community. We host meetups, workshop regularly and promote usage and development of FOSS.
Our meetups happen every last Saturday, 2-5 pm. Each meetup has a broad-theme around open-source software with a mix of other topics like:
- Broad computing/tech principles and concepts (eg: distributed computing, UI/UX stuff, queues etc.)
- People's personal projects and their journeys (technical + non-technical process and experience). No to-do projects, but decent, unique projects
- Fun stuff
- Very technical (language constructs, database etc)
- Incidental (design, philosophy, legalese, policy)
Why should you join the meetup? City meetups are the ultimate melting pot for diverse tech communities. If you want to explore the tech landscape, discover your next interest or searching for meaningful problems to solve, the city chapter is one of the best venue for it.
