AirWatch: WiFi Signal-Based Intrusion Detection System

AirWatch is a security monitoring system that transforms WiFi signals into an environmental sensing mechanism. Instead of using cameras or dedicated motion sensors, AirWatch analyzes variations in WiFi Channel State Information (CSI) to detect human movement in a monitored space.When a person moves through a WiFi environment, the wireless signals reflect and scatter differently due to multipath propagation. These changes alter the signal characteristics received by devices. AirWatch captures these variations and uses machine learning to classify the type of movement occurring in the environment.
